Apprentice Quantity Surveyor

Alto Construct is a privately-owned, civil engineering and groundworks contractor. We undertake a diverse range of civil engineering projects on a nationwide basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join us as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. The role is based at our Head Office in Morley, Leeds, but you will spend plenty of time out on site too. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from our team, who have vast experience of the industry and develop a long-term career within a dynamic and growing business.
You will receive plenty of on the job training and development, and we will also support you to gain a Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship by studying one day a week at Leeds College of Building.
As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you will become involved in all aspects of the cost process and contract administration, from tendering and procurement, through to construction phase and final account.
If you have the following qualifications and personal qualities, we would love to hear from you:
* At least 5 GCSE's, including Maths, Science and English at grades 5-9 and a BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship or A Levels in a relevant subject, such as Maths, English or Science. Alternative qualifications and relevant experience may also be considered.
* Ambitious and committed to a career in the construction industry.
* A desire to learn and develop.
* Accurate and numerate, with a fabulous attention to detail.
* Good organisation and time management skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Confident and articulate.
* Reliable and resilient.
* Hold a full driving licence and have their own car.

* Salary range £15-22k per annum, dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.
