We provide Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) designs for urban & rural roads, in addition to dual carriageway & motorways anywhere in the UK using the latest industry software. About the role of Apprentice CAD Designer: This is a full time and permanent position. In this role you will gain a Level 4 Apprenticeship standard, Civil Engineering qualification and will work with the design team to develop your skills and knowledge. Typical day to day responsibilities for an Apprentice CAD Designer include: - Developing an understanding of the sector through observation and working closely with your mentor - Producing and designing scaled and schematic temporary traffic management drawings - Assisting with design modifications to facilitate operations - Making sure all temporary traffic management drawings are in accordance with guidelines - Ensuring all paperwork is up to date - Maintaining CAD models, drawings and associated files - Working with Lead Designers to improve skills in BricsCAD and learning how to keep a consistent high standard of final presentation of temporary traffic management drawings - Receiving continual Health & Safety and Lantra approved training to help develop and keep up to date your knowledge and experience in temporary traffic management - Completing all training associated with the apprenticeship About you: You are organised, hard working and want to learn and forge a career for yourself.
