We are currently hiring Support workers and Teaching assistants to work in a post-19 provision for SEND young adults. Your role would be to provide support in the learning and development of the students and to aid the teachers in providing an enriching experience. The Learning centre is focused on employability and independence, allowing young people to develop the personal skills required to launch into adulthood. The centre caters for learners who have Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex needs, Autism, Hearing Impairments, Visual Impairments, Physical Disabilities and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. The ideal Teaching assistant for this role MUST have: - Experience working vulnerable adults. - Full availability during school hours: Monday- Friday Not required but preferred: - Experience working with children or young adults with additional needs. - Hard working and proactive.
