An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Wholesale Butcher to join a family-run catering butchers (est. 1962), with a close-knit team of Butchers, Production Operators, Warehouse Assistants and Delivery Drivers, supplying meats from around the world to London and the Home Counties.

What youll be doing as Wholesale Butcher:
1. Following daily butchery workflows, including whole carcass breakdown and preparation of beef, pork, lamb and poultry to specification.
2. Operating machinery such as the bandsaw safely and effectively to meet order requirements and stock replenishment.
3. Accurately using specifications, recipes and stock management systems to ensure products are to spec with full traceability.
4. Weighing, packing, sealing and inspecting products, identifying and addressing any items that are not to standard.
5. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and quality assurance, alongside routine equipment checks and issue reporting.
6. Supporting stock control, inventory counts, stock rotation, and ongoing role-specific training, seeking guidance where knowledge gaps are identified.
