We are recruiting HCAs and Support Workers to work in a variety of settings, including:
* Care homes
* Residential services
* Supported living
* Learning disability and complex needs services
* Mental health services
Whether your experience is in personal care, learning disabilities, autism, mental health or complex behaviours, we have flexible and rewarding shifts to suit you
Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant:
* Provide person-centred care in care homes and residential settings
* Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility & meal support
* Help with medication prompts/administration (as trained)
* Promote dignity, respect, independence and wellbeing
* Record and report changes in health and behaviour
* Work alongside healthcare professionals and families
As a Support Worker:
* Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex care
* Encourage independence, life skills and engagement in meaningful activities
* Provide emotional support and enable community participation
* Use positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques where required
* Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
* Complete accurate notes and communicate effectively with the team
