Consultant in Public Health

As a Public Health Consultant based within the Public Health and Communities hub, you will work closely with the Director of Public Health, members of the public health team and colleagues across partner organisations.
You will play a pivotal role in improving the health and well‑being of the communities in Gloucestershire, supporting the Director of Public Health in achieving core public health objectives, including reducing health inequalities, protecting health, and contributing to the quality of local health and social care services. This role provides a huge opportunity to drive the public health agenda forward within a council coterminous with its Integrated Care Board, Fire Service and Police Authority, and a thriving VCSE sector.
Alongside your excellent leadership skills, you will demonstrate a strong track record of working in public health, developing powerful relationships with partners and stakeholders to influence local commissioning, deliver better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
