An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to join the Sexual Health Fife team. This is a diverse role which involves the delivery of a high standard of support to the nursing and medical team and requires the ability to work autonomously to provide asymptomatic screening clinics. You should be able to demonstrate high quality, person-centred care and excellent teamworking. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and is non-judgemental and compassionate. You should have a keen interest in sexual health nursing and will be required to actively participate in personal development planning. Phlebotomy is an essential element of this post but not a pre-requisite as training can be provided. You are also required to be flexible and able to travel throughout Fife. Clinic sessions will include mornings, afternoons and evenings. If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be funded by NHS Fife.
