Job Summary
The Field Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services within the community. This position involves managing a team of care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans, and maintaining effective communication with clients and their families. Duties
* Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional care to clients in private residences.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Conduct regular assessments of client needs and ensure that appropriate services are provided.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices in senior care and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and staff performance, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
* Foster a positive working environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
* Liaise with external agencies and healthcare providers to coordinate services for clients.
* Drive to various locations as required to oversee service delivery and conduct site visits.
* On call cover is required, one out of four weeks.
Skills
* Proven experience in supervising or managing teams within the care sector is essential.
* Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing staff members.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
* Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and utilising software systems related to care management.
* A valid driving licence is required for travel between client locations.
