About The Role
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our growing team at the Devon Out of Hours (OOH) service on a Part Time Permanent basis.
The Devon OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed.
The OOH service operates throughout a number of locations within Devon, so occasional travel will be required. Your main base will be in our office in Exeter.
Within this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the running of Practice Plus Group’s services throughout Devon OOH, specifically at our Exeter sites. You will ensure the delivery of a high-quality service for Practice Plus Group patients by utilizing resources and helping with monitoring and evaluating the performance of operational staff through regular audits. You will also assist with the recruitment, selection, and training of new operational staff and provide the Operations Manager with reports as needed.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position, requiring approximately 10 hours a week. As an OOH service, you will be required to work unsociable hours.

In order to be considered for this role, the minimum requirements are:
* A good standard of education
* Previous experience with problem solving and troubleshooting
* The ability to make decisions under pressure
* Good knowledge of the local area and map reading skills
* A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
It would be advantageous to have the following, though these are not essential:
* An understanding of healthcare
* Previous experience of supervising staff
* Skills in interpreting/analysing data
