To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a:
Supply Chain and Customer Service Co-ordinator

Your Mission
Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for booking raw materials that supply the site. They will also work closely with the Planning and Customer Liaison Manager to support the planning and customer service team in delivering a first-rate customer experience.
What You Will Do
* Ensure all raw material stock usage is recorded on the MRP system, investigate stock discrepancies, and maintain a log of resolutions.
* Maintain a transport log, recording pallet quantities delivered, customers served, and all associated costs/savings.
* Process customer orders accurately using the MRP system, ensuring business standard MOQs are met and raising non-conformance issues with customers as required.
* Communicate changes to order quantities or delivery dates with customers, and keep records of all communications.
* Handle customer queries efficiently, maintaining a record of all communications and resolutions.
* Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full, maximizing throughput and minimizing plant downtime.
* Coordinate daily delivery requirements with transport partners, ensuring planned dispatch times are met and optimizing truck fill and cost efficiency.
What We Expect From You
The ideal candidate would have:
* High levels of numeracy and literacy.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
* Strong keyboard skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
* Good record-keeping skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry.
What You Can Expect From Puratos
* Salary of £28,000 per annum.
* 5% bonus scheme.
* Core working hours of 40 hours per week, with shifts shared to ensure coverage between 06:00 – 17:00.
* 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
