Overview
Interaction Technical has partnered with a growing, market-leading dealer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in the Gloucestershire area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to business growth, our client is now looking to add an electromechanical field engineer in and around the Cirencester area to maintain, repair, and service agricultural machinery.
The Duties:
* Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, combiners, bailers, etc.)
* Travel to customer sites to ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to high standards.
* Carry out diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery.
* Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutions.
* Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
* Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and find solutions.
The Requirements:
* Previous experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities (essential)
* Experience in the Agricultural industry (advantageous)
* Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
* Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
* Full UK Drivers License
