We’re looking for a highly numerate analyst to join our Pricing team, supporting the pricing of annuity and bulk purchase annuity (BPA) business in a growing and collaborative environment.
This role offers hands‑on exposure to pricing models, data analysis, and valuation work, with the opportunity to build deep expertise in BPA pricing while working closely with colleagues across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the development and maintenance of annuity and BPA pricing models
* Preparing and analysing policyholder data, including handling incomplete or imperfect datasets
* Contributing to experience analysis and assumption setting
* Supporting valuation and reporting across Solvency II, UK GAAP and IFRS 17
* Working with stakeholders across pricing, finance, and the wider business
* A mix of structured work and ad‑hoc analysis in a fast‑paced environment
What we’re looking for:
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proven experience analysing data and resolving data issues independently
* Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly
* Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Nice to have (but not essential):
* Exposure to UK Defined Benefit pensions or reinsurance
* Understanding of annuity pricing or actuarial valuation concepts
* Studying towards FIA (or no longer studying, with relevant experience)
