Job Title: Yard Worker
Responsibilities:
- To load lorries and customer vehicles using telehandler
- To operate weighbridge (training will be given)
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed (training can be given, if necessary)
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- To do complete necessary paperwork using computer(training will be given, if necessary)
-Assist with handling of livestock when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of general farm work
- Communicate with customer and understand their requests for various products
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
HGV licence would be an advantage, but not essential. However, if right candidate comes along at a later date, we would help with obtaining HGV licence.
