Working Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays, and additional hours)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with excellent communication skills to liaise with senior management, colleagues, high-profile guests, and external stakeholders. The candidate should have established relationships within the UK Muslim community and a strong understanding of the company’s principles and values.
This role encompasses client acquisition, relationship management, business development, sales, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition & Account Management: Generate new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research, while maintaining and growing existing relationships to meet sales targets.
2. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales and senior management to create and implement sales strategies for acquiring new clients and enhancing current relationships.
3. Client Meetings & Consultations: Lead meetings to assess client needs, offer solutions, and present company offerings.
4. Market Analysis & Research: Analyze sales data, prepare marketing proposals, and conduct market research for growth opportunities.
5. Event Coordination: Manage events from planning to execution, ensuring client expectations are met.
6. Advertising Campaigns: Oversee advertising campaigns, coordinating between production and client teams.
7. Revenue Development: Develop strategies to boost revenue and identify new streams.
8. Campaign Management: Manage advertising campaigns from concept to delivery.
9. Sales Reports & Trend Analysis: Analyze sales data and client reports to optimize performance.
10. Client Support & Issue Resolution: Address inquiries promptly and professionally.
11. Negotiation: Negotiate terms within set price parameters.
12. Sales Forecasting: Submit accurate sales and revenue forecasts to senior management.
Additional Duties: Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the line manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles related to sales strategies.

* Structured Selling Techniques: Experience in applying structured sales techniques.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a successful track record.
* Experience in broadcast media sales is highly desirable.
