Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced and passionate youth workers to join our team in collaboration with MHST in Buckinghamshire. As part of the Mental Health Support Team (MHST), RAW Youth Workers play a critical role in delivering trauma-informed, strength-based interventions to children and young people (CYP). This community-focused role involves working closely with schools, families, community organisations, and the wider MHST team (including EMHPs) to provide integrated, flexible, and creative support. Youth Workers will deliver 1:1 and group interventions, advocate for young people, co-produce services with them, and contribute to mental health education in schools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver evidence-informed interventions (1:1 and small groups) supporting emotional regulation, engagement, self-esteem, and relationship building.
· Provide outreach and support in community, school, and home environments.
· Act as advocates for CYP, participating in multi-agency meetings and integrated care planning.
· Support whole-school mental health promotion through assemblies, workshops, and training sessions.
· Build and maintain links with third-sector organisations to strengthen referral pathways and community partnerships.
· Facilitate co-production with CYP, ensuring their voices shape service delivery.
· Work closely with EMHPs in delivering joint interventions and maintaining integrated care.
· Maintain accurate records using NHS clinical systems and outcome measurement tools (e.g. GBOs, RCADS, SDQs).
· Engage in reflective supervision, continuous professional development, and joint learning opportunities.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £27,500.00 per year
