29.6 hours (22.2 hours substantively, with additional 7.4 hours Fixed Term until Nov 2027)
Overview
We are looking for an experienced nurse with the passion, vision and drive to professionally lead nursing into the future. This highly regarded and dynamic nursing leadership post is based within Argyll & Bute Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Highland, reporting to the Associate Nurse Director.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with nurse leadership colleagues across NHS Highland, including the Deputy Director of Nursing and Board Nurse Director.
* Collaborate with senior operational managers and clinical leads to support patient care across hospital, community, social and domestic settings.
* Take responsibility for the standard of nursing practice across Community and Specialist Nursing and Advanced Practice.
* Lead workforce standards, workforce reviews, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.
* Promote staff wellbeing, infection prevention and control, and overall quality care.
Qualifications
* Extensive nursing experience and leadership capability.
* Full current driving licence and access to a car.
* Willingness to travel across Argyll and Bute, including the islands.
