JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a driven, experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a growing Leeds team. If youre passionate about delivering high-quality surveying and project management services, and want to work in a collaborative, supportive environment we want to hear from you.
Youll manage a variety of small to medium projects with minimal supervision overseeing surveys, design work, technical reports, contract admin, and client liaison. Youll take the lead on delivering work to a high standard, on time and within budget, while mentoring junior team members and helping develop their potential.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1. Lead on project execution, technical design, reports, and specifications
2. Manage client relationships and project delivery from brief to completion
3. Undertake building surveys, party wall matters, feasibility studies, and contract administration
4. Mentor and supervise junior team members
5. Attend and contribute to site and design meetings
6. Ensure compliance with ISO and project-specific procedures
REQUIREMENTS
7. Degree-qualified in Building Surveying
8. Strong track record across project management, building surveys, and contract administration
9. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
10. Proficient with JCT contracts and Building Regulations
11. Ideally MRICS (or working towards it)
