Communication anticipated by people that know her well. Indicates she is happy if she is calm and settled. Wheelchair user. Will move around the floor by wriggling. Sleeps on a mattress on the floor. Has ceiling hoists in the family home, unable to assist or co-operate in repositioning or hoisting. Support required to mobilize by SK’s back to mum’s chest. Enjoys standing sling. All medications are administered by others via PEG. 2 of the medications are administered orally covertly in food. VNS in situ swiped when a seizure starts.
