We arerecruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Rail Contract Managerto join our Arb Rail team in the Central Region covering a regionalacross Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
Reportingto the Senior Contract Manager the Rail Contract Manager willcontribute to the performance and growth of our rail division andensure that we exceed our clients expectations on safety qualityand operational delivery.
The Rail ContractManager will predominantly be involved in deveg but the work scopemay potentially also include fencing and civils work. Duties willinclude:
* Managing multiple Rail SiteSupervisors and rail sites to exceed client and internalKPIs
* Assisting the Senior Contract Managerwith the planning safety and quality of works
* Surveying sites to evaluate vegetation clearance workrequired and ensuring adequate resourcing todeliver
Who are welooking for
To be successful inthis role you will ideally have had some but not necessarily all ofthe following;
* Relevant managerialand operational experience or equivalent relevant practicalexperience.
* Previous experience in the railindustry
* Experienced in effectively leadingteams
* Effective influencing and negotiatingskills.
* Knowledge and strong commercial acumenof tendering
Although devegexperience within the Arb sector would be ideal we would be open totraining the right candidate from a Rail or Arb background to be astrong allrounder.
