RATES: HGV Class 1 driver
* 0-12 Weeks £15.41-£25.94
* 12-26 Weeks £16.41-£27.46
* 27 Weeks +£17.41-£28.46
Overtime Rate Applicable after 45 hours weekly

HG Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a supermarket distribution role. Suitable candidates are encouraged to APPLY NOW
DUTIES:
* Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
* Delivering ambient and chilled supermarket goods using temperature-controlled vehicles
* Ensuring correct temperature compliance for chilled distribution
* Securing loads to ensure products are transported safely and without damage
* Carrying out store deliveries and trunking as required
* Operating Class 1 vehicles, with flexibility to operate Class 2 vehicles where required
* Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Office
* Providing excellent customer service at store delivery points
* Working efficiently to delivery schedules and time windows
* Maintaining a professional and flexible approach at all times

Requirements:
* HGV C+E (Class 1) licence
* Must be willing to operate Class 2 vehicles where required
* Digi Tacho & CPC cards
* Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
* Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Drivers Hours)
* Experience with temperature-controlled / chilled distribution preferred
* Good geographical awareness
* Excellent customer-facing skills
* Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised
* Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first-class service
* Strong communication skills and flexible, can-do attitude
