Integrated Urgent Care at Practice Plus Group provides urgent care via 111, Out-Of-Hours, GP and Clinical Assessment services on behalf for the NHS. Join us, and you'll be helping relieve some of the pressure on NHS Emergency services at a vital time. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and committed Advanced Clinical Practitioner who can independently prescribe. Its a chance to simplify and speed up the way patients receive care by assessing them, planning their care, administering treatment and discharging or referring them to other healthcare professionals or external agencies, via the phone. You will also be using our electronic prescribing system. Based in the dedicated Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) supporting our NHS 111 call centre, youll be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as part of a friendly and close-knit multi-skilled team
Main duties of the job
What you will need:
1. Recent experience as an autonomous advanced nurse practitioner in a primary/urgent care environment, with a proven ability to see, treat and discharge patients of all ages with unscheduled presentations.
2. A patient assessment qualification, independent prescribing qualification and NMC PIN .
3. Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.
