Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services on-site at client locations. Duties
* Install, commission, and calibrate Electrical equipment at client sites in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
* Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose technical issues accurately and provide effective solutions promptly.
* Provide on-site training and support to clients on equipment operation and safety procedures.
* Document service activities comprehensively, including detailed reports on repairs, maintenance, and system modifications.
* Liaise with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities.
* Assist in the development of technical documentation and user manuals as required.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role within relevant industries such as manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
* Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex machinery is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
* Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
* Valid driving licence is essential for travel between client sites.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering or technical fields are preferred but not mandatory.
