An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Rookwood Residential Home in Burgess Hill Hours - 30 per week: Mon 8-2, Tues 8-2, Thurs 8-2, Fri 8-2, Sat 8-2 The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superiorservice to our residents To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout thehome at all times. To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff havecompleted their patient care. To check flowers and plants andwater/dispose of as necessary. To clean communal area’s including mopping, vacuuming, dusting Ensuring the home is safe e.g removing clutter, keeping storage area’s tidy Shampoo carpets as and when needed. To present and provide clean and ironed laundry at all times, available for clients as needed To take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
