This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader to drive excellence across a successful Humanities department.
The Role
As Head of Geography, you will:
* Lead and develop a dynamic Geography department
* Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3–5
* Inspire a love of learning and curiosity about the world
* Monitor progress and raise attainment across all ability levels
* Support and mentor staff within the department
* Contribute to whole-school improvement strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level
* Strong leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role
* A track record of improving student outcomes
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A passion for Geography and innovative teaching
