Our consumer portals and mobile health applications provide engaging, relevant and credible health and wellness information, personalised health assessment tools and access to online communities.Medscape is looking for a Media Planner (Client Services) to join our Global business, working across pharmaceutical and other healthcare client media campaigns. The successful candidate will work closely with the Media Planning Operations team and other internal team stakeholders on the production and execution of promotional Media campaigns, and ensure we provide an excellent experience for our clients. The ideal candidate should be a highly organised individual, with strong media planning and customer relationship management expertise, detailed and clear communication skills and a proven ability to prioritise and excel in a deadline driven environment.Responsibilities:
1. End to end responsibility for and ownership of media campaigns, across the campaign life cycle. Including:
2. Media Plan development and management
3. Coordination with clients/agencies for creative assets and communicating creative QA
4. Client Services/client relationship management
5. Leading client Kick Off calls for new campaigns
6. Monthly Reporting
7. Revenue management
8. Work in partnership with the Sales team to understand the client objectives and needs
9. Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure effective campaign management (Media Planning Ops, Sales Ops, Sales Strategists and others)
10. Building and maintaining exceptional client relationships that will assist in smooth and on-time campaign launch and delivery, benefiting future business
11. Develop exceptional understanding of WebMD media products
12. Develop internal relationships and effectively communicate programme details to internal operations teams
13. Working with pharmaceutical and other healthcare clients based across the world
Qualifications and Competencies:
14. Bachelor’s degree
15. Minimum of 4 years’ experience, including experience in agency or publisher environment with media planning responsibilities
16. Passion for customer service and for ensuring that our physicians and clients have the best experience possible
17. Strong desire to further education in the field of digital media and to continue learning in a rapidly evolving industry
18. Excellent organisation and documentation skills
19. Excellent presentation and strong communication skills. Demonstrated experience of successful stakeholder management
20. Proactive and takes initiative
21. Ability to quickly forge and maintain relationships
22. Results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on quality of deliverables
23. Diplomatic, credible and comfortable in dealing with senior executives
24. Effective negotiator, able to influence stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
25. Ability to multitask, function under pressure and meet delivery timeframes
26. Organised with proven ability to manage conflicting priorities
27. A true team player with willingness to pitch in
28. Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills
29. Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
30. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and Google GSuite (Mail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs)
31. Knowledge of Digital Advertising tools (Google Ad Manager, DCM, Salesforce
