M&A Manager | PE-Backed Buy & Build | Business Services
£70k-£90k + bonus
I’m working with a private equity-backed business services platform, looking to hire an M&A Manager to support its ongoing buy-and-build strategy.
The business has grown quickly through acquisitions over the past few years and is now entering its next phase.
The role
This is a hands-on position within a lean M&A team, offering exposure across the full deal lifecycle - from initial evaluation through to execution and completion.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and be given the opportunity to take real ownership of transactions, rather than sitting in a purely support capacity.
Key responsibilities
* Supporting and leading acquisitions end-to-end
* Evaluating new opportunities aligned to the group’s strategy
* Financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis
* Managing due diligence processes and external advisors
* Preparing investment materials for senior stakeholders
* Supporting negotiations and deal execution
* Working closely with leadership and integration teams post-deal
Background
* 3-5 years’ experience in M&A, Transaction Services or Corporate Development
* ACA / ACCA / CFA (or equivalent)
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Experience working in a deal-driven environment
* Able to manage multiple workstreams and operate with a degree of autonomy
