The primary function of this role is to provide Human Resources support at the Brierley Hill Site. The role supports both the Head of HR and Senior HR Generalist with daily administration and departmental operations. It is ideal for an HR Advisor with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The main duties include:
1. Handling all aspects of HR administration such as T&A management, holiday and sickness monitoring.
2. Managing temporary workers, maintaining records, assisting with pay queries, and reconciling invoices.
3. Supporting recruitment activities, including preparing offer packs, drafting contracts, and managing personnel files.
4. Leading new starter inductions and updating relevant systems and paperwork.
5. Maintaining Occupational Health records, organizing appointments, and ensuring employee health checks are current.
6. Supporting updates in HR and Payroll systems regarding employee and organizational changes.
7. Updating and maintaining time & attendance data.
8. Assisting with reporting requirements such as headcount and key metrics.
9. Managing employee uniform processes and related activities.
10. Supporting employee relations issues and HR investigations.
11. Providing general administrative support to the Senior Leadership team.
12. Covering HR office duties in the absence of senior staff.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Self-motivation, excellent communication, and confidence interacting at all levels.
2. A proactive, hands-on approach with problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
3. Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
4. Part CIPD qualification is advantageous but not required; experience in HR is necessary.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. Understanding of confidentiality in handling employee data.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.
8. Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
