An experienced Senior Audit Clerk is required to manage a portfolio of clients and supervise a team of junior audit staff. This is a standalone role and you would report to the Principal.
Some of your duties will include:
* Preparing accounts on behalf of sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and small companies
* Managing year-end process and reviewing work with senior staff members
* Completing bookkeeping requirements from complete and incomplete records up to trial balance level
* Writing up cash books, sales day books and purchase day book records
* Assisting with completing client audits and testing bank, sales and purchase records
* Preparing quarterly VAT returns and producing HMRC payment returns
