Administrative Assistant / HR Administration Support (Hay 10)
Salary: £26,824 – £28,142 pro rata
Contract: 37 hours a week, 5 days a week, Term time only (30 hours/ 4 days would be considered for the right candidate)

Warmley Park School and College has grown over the last few years —and we’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant / HR Support to join our expanding and dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our specialist SEND provision, where your role will be vital in supporting both the day-to-day running of the school and the continued growth of our staff team.
We are looking for the right candidate who will provide strong, efficient administrative and HR support. You’ll play a key role behind the scenes, helping ensure our systems, processes, and people are supported effectively.

About the Role
This is a busy and varied position combining administrative and HR support responsibilities. You will work closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager, and Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
You’ll be central to supporting staff processes—from recruitment and onboarding to maintaining accurate records—while also contributing to the wider administrative function of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Administration:
Maintain efficient administrative systems and accurate records
Provide confidential support to senior leaders
Maintain pupil and staff records in line with data protection requirements
Support filing systems (digital and manual)
HR Support:
Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes (DBS, references, checks)
Liaise with HR advisors to resolve queries
Support payroll enquiries
Maintain accurate staff records and support compliance (e.g. SCR)
Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries
Operational Support:
Act as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, parents, and stakeholders
Liaise with site staff regarding premises and health & safety matters
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong administrative experience, ideally including HR processes
Has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Is confident using ICT systems and databases
Can manage competing priorities in a busy office environment
Communicates effectively with a wide range of people
Works proactively and uses initiative
Essential:
GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
Strong ICT and administrative skills
Desirable:
Experience working in a school environment
Familiarity with systems such as Arbor
Experience within a SEND setting
