PPC Specialist
Chester – 3 days in
Up to £45,000
We’re looking for a PPC Specialist to take full ownership of paid search across a portfolio of travel brands. This strategy‑led, hands‑on role includes real budget responsibility and clear commercial accountability.
The Opportunity
You’ll manage campaigns across multiple travel brands, destinations and seasonal products, focusing on driving high‑quality enquiries and bookings rather than just clicks and impressions. The travel sector brings its own complexities – longer research cycles, high consideration purchases, seasonal demand patterns – and you’ll build and optimise campaigns around those dynamics.
What the Role Involves
- Plan, launch and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Structure activity across multiple brands, destinations and product categories.
- Continuously optimise to improve CPA, ROAS and enquiry quality, test ad copy and landing pages, and implement remarketing strategies suited to longer booking journeys.
- Exercise genuine budget responsibility, making decisions on scale or pullback based on commercial performance.
- Produce regular reporting and translate performance data into clear insights for marketing and commercial stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with SEO, content, website and sales teams to improve conversion rates and ensure tracking and attribution are properly in place.
What They’re Looking For
- At least three years of PPC or paid search experience is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads across Search, Display, Performance Max and remarketing.
- Comfortable managing complex, multi‑campaign account structures.
- Proficient using GA4, conversion tracking and tag management tools.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Experience in travel, luxury or hospitality is a bonus.
- Background in high‑value or high‑consideration purchases, multi‑brand or international campaign management is desirable.
In Summary
If you’re a PPC specialist who wants a role with real scope, genuine commercial impact, and the complexity that comes with managing paid search across a portfolio of travel brands, this is well worth a conversation. Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, based in Chester with hybrid working.
