Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day

GSL Education are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist or mainstream setting in Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about meeting diverse learning needs and helping pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) achieve meaningful progress - academically, socially, and emotionally.
In this role of SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver differentiated and personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities.
* Use creative strategies, interventions, and resources to promote engagement and independence.
* Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and provide ongoing feedback to support development.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and best practice approaches.
What You’ll Bring as an SEN Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant SEN teaching qualification.
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school environment.
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching, differentiation, and behaviour support strategies.
* Excellent communication, patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
