People Partner
UK Wide with travel to sites across the region - Full Time
We are seeking a passionate and innovative People Partner to work collaboratively with our Regional Operational Leadership Team, Centres of Excellence, OneHR team, and other key stakeholders. As a vital member of the Technical FM Sector Team, you will support the Sector People Partner in implementing our People Strategies and Plans, aligning them with Mitie and Divisional Goals, Strategies, and Plans (OGSP).
Main Responsibilities
1. Proactively partner with Regional Account Managers and Directors across Technical FM Regions to provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR solutions.
2. Offer coaching and guidance on various HR topics to managers and support key client relations.
3. Develop and implement account strategies and people plans aligned with Business OGSP.
4. Champion EDI initiatives, culture development, pastoral support, and employee engagement.
5. Provide solutions for complex or escalated cases in collaboration with the ER Support team.
6. Engage in group and local people-focused projects to promote improvements.
7. Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels through effective communication.
8. Support mobilisations across regions by liaising with the Change Partnering team.
9. Assist in developing and nurturing talent and succession plans for leadership and critical roles.
10. Monitor and analyze people data to support monthly reporting.
Success Criteria
Proven experience in a generalist HR advisory role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, preferably within the Technical industry. Ability to influence decision-makers, challenge professionally, and build trusted relationships. Essential skills include:
* Driving HR agendas and stakeholder influence
* Mobilisation and TUPE experience (desirable but not essential)
* Confident and articulate communication skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Ability to handle difficult conversations
* Understanding of confidentiality
* Decision-making capability
* CIPD qualification or working towards it
* Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel with overnight stays
