Binnies UK part of the RSK Group is looking for Lead Civil Engineers working within our Delivery group on Non-Infra UK Water Engineering projects.

Functioning as a technical specialist and/or in a lead role you will be developing and applying advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches.
At Binnies we offer flexible/hybrid/part-time and remote working patterns with flexible UK base location .
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems and applicable engineering codes and standards.
* Preparing calculations and develop civil engineering deliverables (models, drawings and reports) whilst adhering to project budgets, schedules and quality systems.
* Providing guidance to others and support continuous improvement
* Coordinate with internal and external team members on complex projects
* Prepare a variety of complex civil engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.
* Develop recommendations for materials and construction techniques.
* Develop specifications for the identification, collection and management of data for engineering work.
* Serve as a technical specialist and use knowledge and skill set to provide advice and guidance to project teams.
* Mentor and develop junior staff
* Be fully conversant and comply with all aspects of health & safety duties of Designers
Person Specification:
* Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural background
* Experience in design and build
* Knowledge & Experience in the design and checking of non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works design
* Ability to lead and manage a team of civil engineers and associated specialists (structural, geotechnical and hydraulics) and to interface with other disciplines in the production of engineering deliverables
