Are you an analytical, organised and collaborative professional with excellent communication skills, able to lead Education Services impact activity, translate data into insight, and support colleagues to deliver meaningful outcomes?

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Education Services for a directorate-wide role that supports the design, planning and evaluation of impact across a range of strategically aligned teaching and learning activities and projects. Working under the direction of the Head of Education Operations, the Education Impact Manager will provide specialist expertise in impact, evaluation and insight, working closely with teaching and learning teams, academic staff and students. You will support colleagues to translate strategic aims into clear, SMART objectives, produce robust, meaningful evidence of impact, and author high-quality reports and communications for a range of audiences. In addition, you will help colleagues plan and manage projects, ensuring initiatives are well-structured, milestones are met, and outcomes are delivered effectively.

The role is based primarily on-campus, some flexible working from home can be accommodated within business needs.

Key Accountabilities include:

* Monitors Education Services progress against directorate action plans and KPIs
* Researches, interprets and manipulates data using a variety of systems,
* Authors high quality written reports which accurately present impact and data in an accessible format
* Reviews and monitors processes, procedures and associated documentation drawing in specialist knowledge, implementing or making recommendations for changes as appropriate
* Helps Education Services staff capture project plans with timelines, milestones and achievements
* Guides, actively collaborates and takes a lead as appropriate with colleagues and peers across the University to plan and achieve joint projects and objectives

What we’re looking for

You will:

* Have experience of analysis, interpretation and reporting on data as well as presenting and using data to inform decision making
* Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships across and beyond the University.
* Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for expert and non-expert audiences.
* Have a high level of IT competency, including data analysis software
