Vertical Transportation Consultant – Liverpool
The role incorporates design, project management and maintenance account management services to major clients and projects.
Responsibilities
* Site surveys, evaluation and assessment of existing lift and escalator installations.
* Produce client reports with recommendations and solutions.
* Create technical and performance specifications.
* Analyse contractor proposals and produce tender reports.
* Project management of refurbishment and new installations.
* Quality auditing of existing installations for maintenance reporting.
* Principal designer duties.
* Client account management – liaise with contractors to ensure delivery of contracted services.
* Prepare fee proposals, invoicing and credit control for projects and service client responsibilities.
* Seek and generate new clients and projects.
* Produce Excel spreadsheet reports, graphs and data.
* Proofread technical reports.
* Assist in debt chasing.
* Assist in completing PQQ and tender questionnaire and documentation.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in lift industry operational roles.
* BTEC HNC Mechanical or Electrical, or higher qualification.
* Account management experience for major national client/portfolio.
* Knowledge of MF/1 contract.
* Previous VT experience.
* Knowledge of MS Excel.
* Lift management experience.
* Commercial experience (sales).
* Health and safety qualification, EOR202 safe working on lifts minimum.
* Demonstrable ability to produce client reports.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with traffic analysis.
* Qualified and experienced site-based Lift Engineer to Technician NVQ4 or equivalent.
