Production Engineer
Salary: GBP 32,000 - 37,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)

Location: Bristol
Our client designs and manufactures a range of electro‑mechanical products. They are looking to take on a Production Engineer on a permanent basis in the Bristol area.
Attributes
* HNC / HND / NVQ / BSc / BEng qualification ideally or similar in Manufacturing or Production Engineering or have previous work experience in a similar hands‑on role
* Understanding of Six Sigma would be beneficial
* 2 years or more of engineering experience in a similar Manufacturing, Assembly, FMCG or similar environment
* Experience of working with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, FMEA, and Continuous Improvement activities
* Knowledge of ISO9001
* Previous experience of working with a range of materials including plastics
* Be able to design jigs and fixtures (understanding of SolidWorks CAD software)
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Have good communication skills both verbal and written
* Computer proficiency using MS Office
* Excellent problem‑solving skills
Role Involvement
* Working with the team to improve production processes
* Defining processes and procedures
* Help to support with any operational issues
* Being involved in continuous improvement activities
* Helping to achieve on‑time delivery with customer orders
* Supporting NPI too
* Being involved in production design and set up
* Using problem solving skills
