A growing engineering manufacturer in Suffolk is looking for a Quality Engineer to strengthen their quality function and support the delivery of high-standard products. This hands-on role works closely with the Quality Manager, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth processes and continuous improvement.
Pay & Hours:
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Full-time, permanent positionWhat you will be doing:
Supporting the Quality Manager with all quality-related activities
Maintaining communication with customers and suppliers as required
Managing the non-conformance register and producing monthly KPIs
Analysing customer performance metrics and targets
Assisting with customer audits and visiting customer sites for meetings/reviews
Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with the quality management system
Implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring quality issues
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
Any other duties as directed by the Quality ManagerWho are we looking for?
Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements and processes
Strong technical problem-solving skills in a live production environment
Ability to read technical drawings and discuss technical issues professionally
Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise workload
Driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK
