Responsibilities
Team Introduction
You will support the management and delivery of physical security operations, programs, and personnel across Europe, encompassing multiple cities and sites. Your role will promote a robust and positive security culture within the company.
You will provide exemplary security support services to multiple sites, including deploying high-performing guard teams and responding to local incidents professionally and promptly. Establishing excellent cross-functional relationships with external partners (e.g., law enforcement, local first responders, industry counterparts), maintaining site risk assessments and process documentation, and supporting new office projects are also key components of this role.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of day-to-day physical security operations across multiple sites, overseeing the deployment of local teams (guard, reception, and/or SOC services) based on risk profiles and operational demands.
* Develop and contribute to the continuous improvement of Physical Security standard operating procedures, ensuring site risk assessments are accurate and current.
* Plan and lead physical security onboarding and training for security personnel at regional sites to ensure professional and consistent service delivery.
* Support management of guarding vendors, ensuring high-quality operational performance aligned with KPIs, and assist with invoices and purchase requisitions.
* Respond to physical security incidents, including incident reporting, after-action reviews, and conducting or supporting internal investigations and post-incident reports.
* Update and maintain site emergency response plans for medical, fire, and other emergencies, including employee security awareness training and drills.
* Support the regional emergency response team program through training and recruitment.
* Assist with new office security design, understanding local security legislation, and supporting event security, including offsite venue risk assessments.
* Participate in Country and Regional Crisis Management teams when required.
* Manage a significant budget, including monthly payments and financial forecasts.
* Deputise for the Regional Security Lead during absences.
* Provide planning and operational support for large-scale company events.
* Lead and contribute to specialized security projects.
* Lead cross-functional engagement and operational management for key security issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in corporate security, with at least 2+ years in a security management role.
* Experience managing security operations across multiple sites and countries, with a record of high performance and increasing responsibilities.
* Operational familiarity with physical access control, video management, life safety systems, and visitor management systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
* Sound problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
* Flexibility to travel, respond to emergencies after-hours, and work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting new office security setups, including risk assessments and technical security design.
* Experience managing guarding RFPs and supervising contract personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
* Ability to handle acute incidents effectively.
* Experience supporting business events with venue risk assessments.
* Degree in a related field is advantageous.
* Ability to maintain comprehensive site documentation, checklists, and SOPs.
* Strong commercial awareness, including budget management, market awareness, and profit and loss understanding.
