Salary: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is working closely with a successful secondary school in Bath, which is looking to appoint a passionate Art Teacher for a confirmed, long-term position starting in September 2025. This is a full teaching role – not day-to-day cover – with responsibilities across planning, delivery, and assessment.
The school places a strong emphasis on the creative arts and is seeking a teacher who can contribute meaningfully to a vibrant department. Whether you're experienced or newly qualified, you’ll be joining a supportive team that values subject passion and innovative teaching.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification)
Have experience teaching Art across KS3–KS5
Demonstrate strong classroom management and engaging lesson delivery
Be confident guiding students through both practical work and portfolio development
Be collaborative and committed to student progress
ECTs are encouraged to apply – the school offers excellent mentoring and welcomes early career teachers looking to make their mark.
