GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to join schools in the Conisbrough (DN12) area. This role provides the opportunity to deliver stimulating lessons, promote thoughtful discussion, and support pupils in developing empathy, critical thinking, and respect for diversity. Responsibilities as an RE Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stages. Encourage students to think critically and engage in respectful debates and discussions. Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and understanding. Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, strategies, and resources. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Uphold safeguarding standards and promote pupil welfare at all times. Requirements for RE Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching RE is desirable. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Creativity and passion for fostering respectful and inclusive learning experiences. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
