Dual Trade Joiner
We are recruiting an experienced Dual Trade Joiner to join an in‑house reactive maintenance team in Trafford, Greater Manchester. This is a 12‑week temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on performance. You will work within the Responsive Repairs team, supporting housing stock across the Northwest.
Contract Details
- Position: Dual Trade Joiner (Temp to Perm)
- Hours: 36.25 per week
- Rate: £19 per hour (Temp)
- Contract: 12‑week temporary, with potential to move permanent
- Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
- Mobile role - van provided for business use
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive repairs across housing stock
- Internal and external door fitting
- Splice repairs and general locksmith work
- Bathroom sub‑floor repairs and bath panel installation
- Kitchen framework repairs and refits
- General maintenance and multi‑trade duties
- Deliver a right‑first‑time service to residents
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Participate in out‑of‑hours rota (additional pay provided)
Requirements
- Recognised trade qualification in carpentry/joinery
- Proven experience in maintenance or responsive repairs
- Strong multi‑trade skills
- Excellent customer service approach
- Health and safety awareness
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Own hand tools required (power tools provided)
- Previous experience in a similar role
