An established Further Education college in Berkshire is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Animal Management Lecturer to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional or experienced educator to make a real impact in a practical, hands-on learning environment.
The Role
You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Animal Management programmes, supporting learners to develop both academic understanding and real-world skills. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning culture.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver inspiring Animal Management lessons across FE levels
Plan, assess and track learner progress in line with awarding body requirements
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management
Support learners’ academic and personal development
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a qualification in Animal Management or a related discipline
Teaching qualification
Experience working with animals in an educational or industry setting
Strong communication skills and a learner-centred approach
Passion for education and developing future professionals
