About the Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin’s Buffets Department in Skegness!
In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly while leading a talented team of chefs. You’ll step up in the Kitchen Manager's absence, bringing your passion for exceptional dining experiences to life.
Your leadership skills will shine as you conduct daily briefings, manage stock control, and elevate the presentation of our delicious dishes. You’ll also play a key role in driving financial performance by delivering food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adhering to cooking standards. Plus, you’ll ensure our food hygiene and health and safety practices meet all legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Kitchen Manager, you will:
* Support the Kitchen Manager in daily operations and step up in their absence.
* Lead and develop a large team of chefs, fostering a positive and energetic work environment.
* Monitor and enhance the guest experience through continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage stock control and ensure the presentation of food meets our high standards.
* Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to specifications.
* Maintain food hygiene standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be ready to uphold high standards in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll also manage margins, control costs, and ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are followed.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours, including evenings and weekends. Please note that this position does not come with onsite accommodation.
