About the role
Are you an enthusiastic and engaging teacher, ready for your next key stage 1 teaching role in a primary school in the Wisbech area of Cambridgeshire? We are looking for an inclusive, determined and motivated KS1 Teacher to join a supportive team in a role that will commence in September 2026.
This role is to cover a Key Stage one class until the end of the academic year, July 2027. The is a fixed term, maternity cover post.
Key Responsibilities
1. To create a positive, safe and inspiring learning environment
2. To plan and deliver engaging and challenging learning experiences for all class members
3. To adapt and adjust learning activities and experiences in order to create a fully inclusive classroom environment
4. To be responsible for a class of children, showing respect and care for each student whilst also showing a good level of tolerance
Requirements
5. Hold QTS (Qualified Primary Teacher Status) in the UK, (ECT's also welcome to apply)
6. Have previous experience working within EYFS and/ or key stage 1
7. Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively as part of a wider team
8. Be able to provide full, enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist with this if needed)
9. To be able to provide two, recent teaching references
Salary
Salary is dependent on experience. The minimum requirements for this role are:
