1:1 Tutor
Location: Ellesmere Port
Pay: £30 per hour (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Part-time, long-term
Vision for Education is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified 1:1 Tutor to support secondary students in the Ellesmere Port area who require additional help accessing education.
This is a rewarding opportunity, ideal for experienced teachers or skilled tutors who excel at working independently with a flexible approach and can tailor Maths and English sessions to meet individual learning needs. The role focuses on helping students achieve their academic targets through personalised instruction.
Requirements:
1. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)
2. Experience working with SEND pupils
3. Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
4. Commitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessions
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. A proactive, flexible, and learner-centred teaching style
