The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Product (maternity cover) to own our product strategy and roadmap. You’ll own Craster’s forward-looking product strategy and roadmap — curating a system of products that are innovative, commercially robust, and aligned with our design-led positioning. Acting as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, Design, and Supply Chain, you’ll drive insight-led innovation and ensure our product portfolio stays fresh, relevant, and operationally effective.
This is a strategic leadership role with hands-on influence across:
* Product Strategy & Roadmap – building a 3–5 year view of breakthrough innovations and incremental improvements.
* Insight & Briefing – capturing operator and market feedback to create commercially strong product briefs.
* Creative Leadership – guiding product storytelling, photoshoots, and launches in line with brand positioning.
* New Product Development – leading concept to launch with Design and SLT.
* Portfolio Management – ensuring balance across innovation, core systems, and lifecycle reviews.
* Supplier Strategy – driving partnerships, resilience, and merchandising excellence.
* Cross-functional Leadership – aligning launches with Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, and operator needs.
* Team Leadership – coaching and developing our Product team.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle in design-led, system-based industries.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to build ROI-anchored business cases.
* Confidence engaging directly with hospitality operators and turning insight into products.
* Track record of supplier partnership management and sourcing resilience.
* Leadership skills that balance creativity, rigour, and cross-functional collaboration.
* A global outlook, with travel experience in sourcing, networking, and market validation.
