The Opportunity/Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Planning Administrator to join our operations here in Huntingdon, Cambs. Reporting to the Head of Supply Planning, you will play a pivotal role in the management and administration of the key systems used within Aliaxis UK, predominantly our ERP system Dynamics AX. Be responsible for executing the function to manage all activities associated with master data set up, including but not limited to: part numbers, routes, BOMs work centres, suppliers, pricing, costing etc; works order administration and new product setup. Project involvement is also a key requirement of the position.
Main Responsibilities Will Include
* Reviewing daily the open works order position. To close out open pick lists route cards as required.
* Reviewing open master data requests, update and feedback to originator.
* Setting up new products as necessary. To work with the product management teams and clarify any points of query.
* To be involved in key projects. To provide opinion and ideas to help progress project activity.
* Prioritising and effectively manage all tasks in order to achieve desired goals in a timely fashion.
* Providing clear and concise feedback to any queries raised by other departments pertaining to the administrator function.
* Becoming the functional expert.
* Help covering specific roles in the team during periods of absence.
* Operate to the relevant policies and procedures as defined.
Requirements
* Significant experience of master data control / system administration within an ERP manufacturing-based environment.
* Decisive, well organised, systematic, and rigorous approach to planning work and priorities.
* High focus on attention to detail.
* Excellent influencing and inter-personal skills.
* Delivery results from successfully working with stakeholders and customers.
* Data driven with strong analytical and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel- strong understanding of ERP (Dynamics AX preferable); and MRP software.
* Likes to challenge current process with the intention to improve.
* Works on own initiative, highly self-motivated.
* Energetic driver of continuous improvement.
