About the role: We are actively looking to hire an experienced Group Reporting Manager. This is an exciting and wide-ranging role that will be reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller but will also work closely with the Integration, FP&A, and Accounts Payable teams, currently split between Colchester, London and Hailsham. The role includes: Managing and overseeing the Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Reporting teams. Review and oversight of month-end close process and subsequent reporting. Review and oversight of all external reporting, including statutory reporting. Working with auditors to complete the Group’s statutory audits. Working with tax advisors to complete corporation tax returns. Working with Integration team to get acquisitions integrated onto NetSuite. What we’re looking for: The ideal candidate will be an ambitious Group Financial Accountant or an existing Group Reporting Manager who possesses the following skills and experience: Essential Technical Expertise Consolidated Accounts: Proven experience producing comprehensive consolidated accounts. Statutory Reporting: Extensive experience in all aspects of statutory reporting, covering both FRS102 and IFRS standards. System Knowledge: Strong proficiency in accounting systems (experience with NetSuite is highly desirable due to integration work). Financial Tools: Strong Excel skills are critical for financial analysis and reporting. Leadership & Management Skills Team Oversight: Experience managing and overseeing accounting and reporting teams. Development: Good team management skills, including proven experience training and mentoring staff members. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a wider finance team while interacting closely with Integration, FP&A, and AP teams. Key Behavioural Competencies Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders (including auditors and tax advisors). Execution: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain the right attitude and energy to execute tasks effectively. Organisational Prowess: Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
