This role would suit a candidate early in their manufacturing career, ideally with some previous experience of composite laminating and/or materials.
Training and guidance will be provided as part of the role.
You will be responsible for: Working alongside experienced Composite Laminators to manufacture composite moulds and components.
Preparing moulds and tools for composite manufacture.
Communicating with colleagues within the Composite departments.
Successfully meeting challenging and demanding deadlines.
The ability to multitask whilst remaining organised and focused.
Maintaining consistent high standards.
Being proactively aware of Health and Safety requirements.
Dealing with technical challenges as and when they arise and know when to seek assistance if unsure.
What you will need to be successful in this role : Prior experience or knowledge of composite laminating processes and materials.
A desire to learn and progress within the role, continuously developing understanding of Composite Manufacturing processes.
Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and laminate manuals.
An excellent level of attention to detail with experience in stock control and record keeping.
Possess very good IT skills, with the desire to learn and understand new systems and software related to the role.
Enthusiasm and excitement for manufacturing processes.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A methodical and thorough approach to your work.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with the ability to work well with colleagues.
Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a dependable team player.
Have a positive attitude and be willing to help throughout the department.
Work well under pressure to meet time critical deadlines.
Have a flexible attitude to working hours where required.
This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
