Job Description: Our customer, a global professional services company, is looking for an Investigations Lead to conduct and oversee corporate compliance investigations arising from alleged misconduct reported through various channels. This is a 7-8 months' contract role.
Responsibilities include:
Work with senior leadership to assess and address legal risks in investigations
Manage investigative teams
Oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes
Supervise internal and external resources to handle complex allegations related to financial and regulatory misconduct, including:
Defining scope
Notifying relevant personnel
Conducting interviews
Compiling reports
Recommending remedial actions
Ensure effective investigation management by:
Timely review and assignment of cases
Developing trend reporting processes
Making strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group
Executing global investigation strategies
Providing legal advice on risk and remedial measures
Liaising with Compliance Program leads
Working with law enforcement and regulatory agencies
Training investigative personnel
Staying updated on legal developments
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investigations, including:
Code of Business Ethics and financial fraud investigations
Regulatory and governmental investigations
Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks
Handling litigation related to investigations
